Prospect search
Find the companies that fit, then the people who buy.
Search companies by keyword, industry, headcount and country, then the people at them by job title, seniority and country. Each person's profile is looked up, so you see their current title and company, not last year's.

Pick people, then save them to a list. Their work emails are found and verified as they're saved.
Filters
Two searches: companies, and the people at them.
Start from a market or from a company you already know. Both searches feed the same lists.
Browse companies
Search by keyword, industry, company size and HQ country. Pick a company to search the people who work there.
People by title
Add up to 5 job titles, with autocomplete. Each title runs as its own search, so one title can't crowd out the others.
Seniority
Owner, Founder, C-suite, Partner, VP, Head, Director, Manager, Senior, Entry or Intern, worked out from each person's title.
Industry, size and country
Narrow people by several industries, by company size from 1–10 to 10,001+, by country and by keyword.
Skip people you have
Existing contacts are left out of results by default, so each search is spent on new people.
Personas
Describe an ideal customer once, with titles, seniority and locations, and apply it to a search in one click.
How it works
From a search to a list you can email.
Search
Filter by company, title, seniority, industry, size and country. Choose 25, 50, 75 or 100 results per page.
Review
Each result shows the person's current title and company, checked against their profile.
Save to a list
Select people and save them to a new or existing list. Large saves carry on in the background.
Emails, verified
As people are saved, their work emails are found and checked with the company's mail server.
Your data
Search results aren't stored. Only what you save.
A search shows you people; it doesn't copy them into your CRM. Only the people you choose to save become contacts. Anyone who has opted out of prospecting is left out of search results and can't be saved.
- Only name, title, seniority, company, domain, country and profile address are kept
- People who opted out are filtered from search, saves and imports
- Repeat a search and it carries on from where the last one stopped
- Existing contacts are marked, and saving them just adds them to the list

Not yet
What it doesn't do yet.
MagpieCRM is early access software, at version 0.9.23. So you know before you start:
- Personas apply their titles, seniority and countries to a search; their industries, keywords and headcount don't carry over yet.
- Company size needs an industry or keyword alongside it when searching people.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Where does the prospect data come from?
From SocialFetch, a third-party data provider. On Magpie Cloud it's included in your prospect credits. Self-hosted, you add your own SocialFetch API key in Settings and pay SocialFetch directly.
Are titles and companies up to date?
Each person in the results has their profile looked up, so you see their current title and company rather than a copy from an old database.
Do search results count against my allowance?
Yes. Searching uses about 2 prospect credits for each prospect found, because filters leave out some of the people a search pays for. Revealing a verified email uses 2 more.
Can someone ask not to be found?
Yes. Anyone can opt out of prospecting by work email, profile address, or name and company website. They're then left out of searches, saves and imports.
